Weather Alert: Ivy Day

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the Ivy Day ceremony will be held at the Indoor Track and Tennis Facility. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. for guests. Overflow seating will be available at Sweeney Concert Hall in Sage Hall, where the livestream will be shown.  Graduates should arrive at the glass door entrance of Ainsworth Gym no later than 8:45 a.m. to assemble for the Alumnae Parade.

Statement of Student Ethics

Students have freely associated themselves with Smith College in a relationship based on mutual trust, personal respect, and individual integrity. Dedicated to the advancement of learning and the pursuit of truth, they shall foster the process of free inquiry and the exchange of ideas and criticism while maintaining respect for the opinions of others. They shall demonstrate respect for all members of the Smith community as individuals, avoid exploitation of fellow community members for personal advantage, and make every reasonable effort to foster honest academic conduct. Smith College is a multicultural community, founded on mutual respect and appreciation of differences. Expressions of disrespect for the background or culture of any person undermine civil dialogue and erode community.
