Weather Alert: Ivy Day

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the Ivy Day ceremony will be held at the Indoor Track and Tennis Facility. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. for guests. Overflow seating will be available at Sweeney Concert Hall in Sage Hall, where the livestream will be shown.  Graduates should arrive at the glass door entrance of Ainsworth Gym no later than 8:45 a.m. to assemble for the Alumnae Parade.

Shipping Belongings to Smith

You may want to send trunks and boxes to the college after you have received your housing assignment.

Small boxes can be sent by USPS; large boxes and trunks should be sent via UPS or FedEx. All packages should be prepaid and insured. If you have any questions please contact mail services at mailservices@smith.edu.

Your letters and packages must be addressed in the following manner:

Smith College
1 Chapin Way, Unit #XXXX
Northampton, MA 01063

Do not use the term “P.O. box” number. Your items will not get to you if addressed this way.

Please do not ship your items more than one week prior to your arrival on campus.

Your items will be held for you at Mail Services, located on the lower level of the campus center.
