Biography
Pun Winichakul is an applied microeconomist working in the fields of public and behavioral economics. His research can be organized into two strands. The first examines prosocial behavior and civic engagement, including charitable giving, mission-oriented work, and activism. The second broadly explores topics related to inequality and opportunity, including the mechanisms behind racial and gender disparities, intimate partner violence, and refugee outcomes after resettlement.
