STEM & Health Professions Lunchbag: Fellowships Program Info Session
Friday, April 24, 2026 12:15-1 p.m.
If you intend to apply to graduate school to pursue research in a STEM field or the social sciences, consider applying for a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. This program is large (more than 2,000 awards a year) and diverse (supports research in eight primary fields of STEM plus psychology, social sciences, and STEM education and learning research).
The award is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents and provides financial support for up to three years of full-time study.
Typically, the award supports doctoral degrees but individuals pursuing research-oriented master's degrees are also eligible to apply. You may apply as a senior, again before you enter graduate school, and once more while you are a graduate student.
Pizza including gluten free and vegetarian options will be served.
