come from (BOA Editions, 2025) by janan alexandra ’13 is a wise exploration of diasporic identity, detailing alexandra’s re-learning of the Arabic language, retracing childhood memories, and expanding the idea of cultural origin. Daughter of Three Gone Kingdoms (Perugia Press, 2024) by Joan Kwon Glass ’98 examines the historical weight of the early-20th century Japanese occupation of Korea through candid, intimate expressions of inherited intergenerational trauma. Followed by a conversation with Rebecca Hart Olander. Books available for sale & signings follow. Free & open to the public. Livestream also available on the BDPC YouTube page.
