Strategic Planning Update, November 2025

Dear Friends,

As we move deeper into the fall semester, I’m pleased to share an update on Smith’s campuswide strategic planning process.

Throughout October, we held six feedback sessions with students, faculty, and staff to discuss the draft goals and initiatives that will shape Smith’s future. I want to thank everyone who took the time to attend a session or share thoughtful input. Your comments and questions have been invaluable in helping us refine the plan and ensure that it reflects the aspirations and priorities of our community.

With this last round of engagement complete, our next step is to incorporate your feedback into the plan document and draft the full strategic plan. We expect to share the final version with the Smith College Board of Trustees in early December.

Thank you for your continued engagement and commitment to this process and to Smith’s mission.
